Documentation/Teams and access
Workspaces, members and device groups
Organize devices by purpose and give teammates the access their tasks require.

Select the right workspace
Each workspace has its own devices, members, permissions and billing. Check the workspace switcher before changing devices or settings.
Create groups in Devices for personal computers, test devices or shared team machines. Give devices recognizable names so people and AI can select the correct target.
Invite a member
An owner or administrator opens Members, enters an email, chooses a role and creates an invitation. Share the provided invitation link with the intended person and verify their membership after acceptance.
Owners and administrators manage the workspace. Operators and viewers are also constrained by device-group and operation permissions. A role name alone does not tell you which devices someone can control.
Grant groups and operations
In a member's access settings, select the groups they need and the operations they can perform. Viewing a screen, controlling a desktop, reading files and changing files are distinct permissions.
Start with the information the task requires, then add specific write capabilities when needed. For reusable permission sets, manage custom roles in Roles and assign them to the appropriate members.
If a member has joined but cannot see a device, check the current workspace, the device's group, the member's group grants and whether the device was removed.
Review access when people leave
When responsibilities change, update roles and group access. When a member leaves, remove their access and review associated keys and client records.
Use Operations and Security audit for available operation and authorization records. To stop ongoing work, also check the task and session status instead of relying on closing a browser tab.
Include the issue and the steps you took so it is easier to investigate.
