Account installation: the unified client

In Downloads, choose “Install with an account” and Android. Download a published unified client without signing in to the website, then sign in inside the app to access authorized devices. Remote access to this Android device depends on client settings, system permissions, and device support.

No-account installation: obtain it in the workspace

The target device does not sign in to an account. A workspace owner or admin opens No-account installation, selects a group, and obtains its installation content. The following sections describe this existing group-based flow.

Find the installation options

In the workspace installation dialog, select the group and Mobile devices. This Agent uses the no-account flow, unlike the account client on the public Downloads page.

Download the Android Agent APK from the dialog, install it on the target device, and configure it with the group QR code from the same dialog.

Enroll with the group QR code

Keep the workspace's No-account installation dialog open. After installing the app, follow its instructions to scan the group's QR code or use the provided configuration. Confirm the workspace and group before enrolling.

The QR code contains group connection information; share it only with devices being enrolled. If the code or configuration cannot load, ask an administrator to resolve the installation-information error first.

Grant system permissions

Follow Android and client prompts to grant access needed for the task. Screen access and control depend on the device, operating system version and client support. Installing the app does not automatically make every remote capability available.

If Android restricts background operation, check the app's battery and background activity settings. Adjust what normal operation requires instead of disabling all system protections.

Verify connectivity and tools

Return to Devices and check the device's name, platform and online status. Open its details, inspect basic information and try the capabilities the interface offers.

If it is offline, check the target network, app state and system permissions. For denied operations, also check member and device-group access. Follow Troubleshooting for the next checks.
