Install on Windows
Choose the right installer and run mode, then bring your Windows device into the workspace.

Account installation: the unified client
In Downloads, choose “Install with an account” and your system. Download a published unified client without signing in to the website. Match the listed architecture and minimum OS version to your device.
After installation, sign in inside the client and select a workspace to access authorized devices. Signing in registers this device without automatically enabling remote access. To allow access to this device, enable it in settings, confirm its group, and complete system authorization. You do not need a second client.
No-account installation: obtain it in the workspace
The target device does not sign in to an account. A workspace owner or admin opens No-account installation, selects a group, and obtains its installation content. The following sections describe this existing group-based flow.
Select a group and architecture
Open Devices, choose No-account installation, confirm the destination group and select Windows. Download the x64, ARM64 or x86 package matching the target system. Check System information on the target computer if you are unsure.
The installer contains connection information for the selected group. To use a different workspace or group, obtain fresh installation content there.
Choose a run mode
| Mode | When to use it | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Background service and interactive run | Keep a background connection with an interactive run option | Service installation requires system authorization |
| Background service only | Keep the device available over time | Confirm the service installed successfully |
| Temporary run, without a service | One-time assistance with someone at the computer | Exiting the program ends the temporary connection |
Select the mode before downloading. Run the installer on the target, check its source, and follow the installer and operating system prompts.
Verify the device is online
Keep the target connected to the network. Return to Devices and check its name, operating system and online status. Open its details and try a desktop connection before using files or the terminal.
A background service can connect without a browser open on the target, but sleep, shutdown or network loss can still make it unavailable. An online status does not automatically grant your account desktop control or file write permissions.
Installation problems and removal
If the installer cannot run, check the architecture, download integrity and your account's software installation permissions. If an organization security policy blocks it, ask the device administrator to check the source and policy instead of disabling system protection.
For removal, select the Windows uninstall category in No-account installation and follow its instructions on the target. Removing a device from the workspace revokes access; also verify the software state on the target itself. See Troubleshooting for connection issues.
Include the issue and the steps you took so it is easier to investigate.
